Through advocacy, education, and technical assistance, Baltimore Heritage leads efforts to preserve and reinvigorate Baltimore’s historic architecture and distinctive neighborhoods.
Since 1960, we have helped turn demolition plans into positive long-term rebuilding efforts for City Hall, Camden Yards, Fell’s Point and Federal Hill, and Baltimore’s historic downtown around Lexington Market. By becoming a member of Baltimore Heritage, you are helping to preserve our city’s charm and revitalize our historic neighborhoods for current and future generations.
What are the benefits for members?
In addition being a critical partner in our work for a better Baltimore, Baltimore Heritage members receive free and discounted tickets to more than 40 different heritage tours and events throughout the year, including:
- Behind the Scenes heritage tours of historic places that are not generally open to the public.
- Guided Baltimore by Foot walking tours each spring of five different Baltimore neighborhoods, from Marble Hill to Roland Park, Bolton Hill to Ten Hills.
- Annual awards celebration highlighting important preservation projects and those who help Baltimore retain its charm.
- Lectures and other events on Baltimore’s heritage.
