Public Hearing: 1232 Druid Hill Avenue – Designation to Potential Landmark List

At the January public hearing for the Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation, CHAP is reviewing 1232 Druid Hill Avenue as a potential landmark.Please come out next Tuesday, January 12 to support listing 1232 Druid Hill Avenue as a local landmark and protect the building from demolition by Bethel A.M.E. Church. If you are unable to attend, you can share your support for the nomination by email with Eric Holcomb, Executive Director, CHAP at eric.holcomb@baltimorecity.gov.

If you can attend the hearing next week to testify in support of the designation, we urge you to read our tips for effective public testimony. The hearing begins at 1:00pm. This issue is the third item on the agenda so the staff presentation is likely to begin at 1:30pm. To testify, you need to sign up at the front desk for the planning department just outside the Baltimore City Planning Department hearing room.
