Preserve Your Home Movies: Basic Practices to Care for Moving Image Memories

A partnership between MARMIA and the Baltimore City Archives, this 45-minute lecture introduces the typical audiovisual formats that most people find in their home movie collections and how best to care for them.

Attendees will leave with the knowledge of how to identify and assess their own collections at home, how to prioritize preservation, how to move forward with digitization, and how to plan for long-term access to their family moving image memories. Maximum of 30 attendees – please sign-up in advance.
