Baltimore: Preservation Town Hall

January 4, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Maryland deserves well-preserved historic communities, sites, and architecture! The only way we’ll accomplish this is by working together in advocacy. Join Preservation Maryland and their local partners at these important town-hall style meetings to learn about local, state, and federal advocacy efforts to help save places that matter and how you can be a force for reinvestment and redevelopment.

Attendees can expect the following:

  • Meet and network with other Maryland preservation advocates
  • Learn about the state preservation programs that make a difference, why they are needed, and what might happen to them during the coming session of the Maryland General Assembly
  • Learn about the threats to Federal preservation funding – and what you can do to help
  • Find out how to make the case for preservation and learn more about opportunities to get involved
  • Receive training and an advocacy toolkit to help make you an effective preservation advocate

Presented by Preservation Maryland, Baltimore Heritage, and Greater Hampden Heritage Alliance. Please contact Elly Cowan with any questions at 410-685-2886, x303.
