Cancelled! Baltimore: Legislative Preview on Preservation & Conservation

January 8 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This event is cancelled due to expected inclement weather! Stay tuned for a new date.

Maryland deserves well-preserved historic neighborhoods, historic sites, cultural landscapes, and open space! The only way we’ll accomplish this is by working together in advocacy.

Join Preservation Maryland and the Maryland League of Conservation Voters with our local partners at these important town hall-style meetings to learn about local, state, and federal advocacy efforts to help save places that matter and how you can be a force for preservation and conservation.

Attendees can expect to…

  • Meet and network with other Maryland preservation and conservation advocates
  • Learn about the state preservation and environmental programs that make a difference, why they are needed, and what might happen to them during the coming session of the Maryland General Assembly
  • Find out how to make the case for preservation and learn more about opportunities to get involved
  • Receive training and an advocacy toolkit to help make you an effective preservation and conservation advocate

Registration is not required, but please RSVP to give us a headcount. If you have any questions, please contact Preservation Maryland Director of Engagement, Elly Colmers Cowan at 410-685-2886, x303.
