2018 Preservation Awards Celebration at the Fox Building
June 21 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm$65
Please join Baltimore Heritage for our annual Preservation Awards Celebration on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the historic Fox Building in Hampden. The evening will include food, drinks, and tours of Fox Building in Hampden. This former Noxema skin cream factory is being converted into apartments and is the perfect venue for a celebration of the year’s best preservation and revitalization projects and the people who made them happen.
This year, we’re excited to give awards to the glorious restoration of the Recreation Pier building into the Sagamore Pendry Hotel in Fell’s Point; the conversion of the former Blessed Sacrament campus into housing for woman and children in need in northeast Baltimore’s Pen Lucy neighborhood; and the restoration of the historic library in Baltimore’s iconic City College in the Coldstream-Homestead-Montebello community. We are also recognizing outstanding contributions from Amy Davis with her new book, Flickering Treasures, and long time Baltimore Sun writer Jacques Kelly.
Our celebration is generously supported by our 2018 sponsors: Agora, FreedomCar, GLB Concrete Construction, Hord Coplan Macht, Lewis Contractors, Murdoch Architects, Southway Builders, Station Arts Homes, The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, and Zeskind’s Hardware and Millwork.
Thank you also to our co-sponsors: brennan + company architects, Edgemont Builders, Freeman Architecture, Gant Brunnett Architects, GWWO Architects, Roland Park Place, Unique Resources, and Ziger/Snead Architects.
We hope you can join us for the celebration! For more information, contact Johns Hopkins at 410-332-9992 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
