In 1860, the congregation of St. John’s Episcopal Church completed a new church in Huntington (now Waverly) based on the tenets of the Ecclesiological Society out of Cambridge, England, which devoted itself to the revival of Gothic architecture. The church, along with a parish house and rectory, is a wonderful Gothic building done in a very British way. Please join Reverend Jesse Parker on a tour of this architectural gem that will be decked out in full Christmas season glory.
